Which US states are most likely to use AI to write resumes?

DALLAS (KDAF) — A new study has revealed with US states are most likely to use AI to write their resumes, with Vermont taking the top spot.

The research team at Ask Optimo, an AI-powered marketing tool, examined the data of search terms frequently used by people interested in AI helping them with their resumes. These terms were combined to find each state’s average monthly search volume for AI-related resume terms per 100,000 people.

Vermont takes the crown as the state most likely to ask AI for help with their resume, with 137 searches per 100,000 people. The state’s top searched terms were ‘Chatgpt edit resume,’ ‘Automated CV,’ and ‘AI powered CV.’

Coming in second place is Delaware, averaging 107 monthly searches per 100,000 people. ‘AI CV create’ and ‘Resume AI’ were the state’s top searched terms.

Colorado is third on the list, with 103 searches per 100,000 people. Coloradans ask AI for various ways of helping with resumes, such as ‘AI CV maker’ and ‘AI rewrite resume’.

Georgia is fourth, with 92 searches per 100K people, while Nevada completes the top five with 91 searches. The top searched terms in Georgia are ‘AI rewrite resume’ and ‘Chatgpt optimize CV,’ whereas in Nevada ‘soft skills AI resume,’ ‘AI write hobbies CV.’

In sixth place, Maryland has 90 average monthly searches, whereas Rhode Island ranks seventh, with an average monthly search of 89 per 100K.

The last three states to round out the top 10 are Washington (88 searches), New Jersey (86), and New Hampshire (85).

Texas ranked 23rd, with 73 searches per 100k.
